PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch mechanism which does not require to form a release lever or a release knob for a latch in a pull or a handle. SOLUTION: The front face board in a drawing body is formed in a double layer structure of an end plate 6 attached to the front face board 1 and its outer face, the lower part of the end plate 6 is pivoted to the front face board body 1 with horizontal axes 15a, 15b and the end plate 6 is formed to be swingable back and force around the horizontal axes 15a, 15b, and the lower part is pivoted by a horizontal axis 8 in which a spring 7c is interposed, the swinging body 9 is swingable around the horizontal axis 8 and is urged by the spring 7c at the usually erecting side, the swinging body 9 interlocking with the swinging motion of the end plate 6 is provided, meanwhile, a latch member 14 squarely rotatable on a plane and urged usually at a hooked side by a spring while pivoted on the vertical axis 11 at an outer face of a side wall 3 of the drawer body located near the front face board 1 is provided. And in the back and forth movement of the swinging body 9, the rotation converting parts 8a, 13 rotating the horizontal face at the latch release side of the latch member 14 are formed by the vertical axis 11 of the horizontal axis 8 of the swinging body and the vertical axis 11 of the latch member, when pulling the end plate 6 in this side and vibrating it, the latch member 14 is formed so that the member is rotated to the latch release side.
