PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device capable of increasing defense capability from attack in the outside by making a receiving part of a dead bolt of the locking device invisible from the outside of a window. SOLUTION: This locking device is constituted in such a way that a sash door 2 is provided on an outdoor side of a window frame 1A, a sash door 3 is provided on an indoor side of the window frame 1A, a locking device main body 8 having the dead bolt 9 is provided on the sash door 3, and a receiving fitting 4 for inserting the dead bolt 9 is attached to the sash door 2.
