PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loom designed to determine in a short time a proper set value for an actuator functioning to apply external force to yarn. SOLUTION: The loom includes the actuator functioning to apply external force to yarn, a setter for setting a set value for applying it by the actuator and a controller functioning to operate the actuator according to the set value. In this loom, the setter has at least one key for increasing a set value by a predetermined increment by a single operation and a key for decreasing a set value by a predetermined decrement by a single operation, thus setting the resultant increased or decreased value as a new set value.
