PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition for producing information-recording paper, hardly causing stripe-shaped staining on a die lip part at melt extrusion lamination when producing the information-recording paper by laminating a resin layer on the surface of a base material by melt extrusion, having excellent light resistance, and hardly causing problems such as foaming and cracking of the laminated thermoplastic resin layer. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition for producing the information-recording paper is obtained by compounding a thermoplastic resin with anatase-type titanium oxide and zinc oxide regulated so that the ratio of the titanium oxide to the zinc oxide may be (90:10)-(97:3) by weight.
