PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete slab slotting device with a stopper function for restraining the rotation of a handle which makes an ascent/descent of a frame for supporting a core bit and its drive motor so as to ensure that the frame does not fall in case an operator looses his hold on the handle. SOLUTION: In this device, a horizontal supporting shaft 7a of a pinion fitted to the frame 3 so as to make the engagement of the shaft 7a with a rack 6 seen on one side of a pillar-like body 2 erected upright on a pedestal 1, is turned by the operation of the handle 8 and thus the frame 3 is made to ascend. In this case, the frame 3 falls from an upper position by the weight of the motor 4 and the core bit 5 when the operator looses his hold on the handle 8. In order to prevent the fall from occurring, a stopper 11 which can be engaged with the side of the pillar-like body 2, is provided on the handle 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
