PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently isolating a DNA, even when a chaotropic condition is not imposed. SOLUTION: An adsorbent of the nucleic acid contains a silica which has tubular mesopores having a main pore diameter of 3-6 nm. A complex preferably contains the silica which has the tubular mesopores having the main pore diameter of 3-6 nm and the nucleic acid which is adsorbed into the mesopores. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
