A process for preparing the compound of formula II by reacting the compound of formula I with an enzyme that can hydrolyze the ester bond: where * indicates a chiral center, R₁ and R₂ each independently represent H, C₁-C₆alkyl, -CN or -CCH, and R₃ and R₄ each independently represent H or C₁-C₆alkyl.
