The jacket (1) is made of a waterproof material and provided with a fluorescent area in the shape of an additional waistcoat (2) in order to protect either a pedestrian or a driver standing or moving beside the vehicle in case of a breakdown in the dark. The layer (2) is attached to the inner surface and kept in place by its lateral edges integrated in the lateral seams of the jacket (1). The edges around the shoulders can also be held by the normal seams guided around this area.
