The present invention provides a light-emitting diode message display system and display method for an electronic product, in which the light-emitting diode message display system comprises a physical storage medium unit (6), a file system unit (4), a man-machine interface unit (1), a display scheduling unit (2), a hardware drive unit (3) and a light-emitting diode hardware unit (5), and which support the editing of light-emitting diode light emission patterns by the user of the electronic product and the setting. The display scheduling unit (2) is activated by electronic product states, interrogates files of light emission patterns which relate to these and have been set by the user himself via the man-machine interface unit, and issues light emission instructions to the hardware drive unit; the hardware drive unit accesses the physical storage medium unit via the file system unit, acquires light emission pattern files drives the light-emitting diode hardware unit and causes it to emit light in accordance with light emission patterns which have been set in the light emission pattern files.
