An iontophoresis apparatus comprising (A) working electrode structure including a working electrode, a medicine accommodating part and an ion exchange membrane, (B) counter electrode structure including an electrode counter to the working electrode and (C) power source member electrically connected to the working electrode structure and the counter electrode structure, the apparatus adapted to effect of infiltration of any ionic medicine accommodated in the medicine accommodating part through the ion exchange membrane into a living body by electrophoresis, characterized in that the ion exchange membrane comprises as an ion exchange resin a crosslinked (meth)acrylic resin containing (meth)acrylic structural units (A) having ion exchange groups bonded thereto. The iontophoresis apparatus in which use is made of this ion exchange membrane can realize efficient administration to a living body of an ionic medicine having an ionic formula weight as large as >= 500.
