PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning heat source system having automatic number control operation and individual operation for starting/stopping refrigerators at proper timings while reducing labor for an operator during the individual operation. SOLUTION: During semi-automatic operation, when an elapsed time after starting predetermined refrigerators 1-1, 1-2,...1-n exceeds a set value for the elapsed time after starting them, an elapsed time for state changes of the refrigerators 1-1, 1-2,...1-n from starting the refrigerators 1-1. 1-2,...1-n to stopping them exceeds a set value for the elapsed time for the state changes, and still a refrigerator loading factor which is found in accordance with differences between each of refrigerator return water temperatures tin of the refrigerators 1-1, 1-2,...1-n and each of refrigerator outlet cold water temperatures tout1, tout2,...tout(n) is lower than a lower limit value for the refrigerator loading factor, a stop command can be given to the refrigerators 1-1, 1-2,...1-n.
