PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the concentration of an antibody or antigen capable of accurately measuring a molecule to be measured rapidly and simply with good reproducibility and adaptable to an autoanalyzer. SOLUTION: This antibody or antigen measuring method is completed by utilizing that physical quantities such as the number of molecules, the size of a molecule and the like can be calculated by an one molecule fluorometric spectral analyzing method using an FCS (Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy) analyzing technique as one of techniques for observing one molecule movement. That is, the antibody or antigen measuring method has a process for mixing a substance reacting with the antibody or antigen with a solution containing the antibody or antigen, a process for irradiating the mixed solution with exciting light, a process for detecting the fluctuation of fluorescence generated by the irradiation with exciting light and a process for detecting the presence of the antibody or antigen on the basis of the detected fluctuation of fluorescence.
