PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-ceramics composite material component composed of a working part exposed to a surface layer and a holding part wrapping the circumference of the working part, so as to hold the same, and in which there is no gap and crack between the working part and the holding part, and also, there is no level difference in the faces of the working part in the surface layer and the holding part, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The metal-ceramics composite material component is composed of a working part exposed to the surface layer and a holding part wrapping the circumference of the working part, so as to hold the same, and is composed of the one obtained by compounding a ceramics reinforcing material into a metal matrix.
