PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust inhibitor excellent in storage stability in a wide temperature range. SOLUTION: This dust inhibitor contains (A) a nonionic surfactant mixture which contains a nonionic surfactant expressed by the formula: R<SP>1</SP>-O-(EO)<SB>m</SB>-H (R<SP>1</SP>is a 9-24C aliphatic alkyl having a branched chain; EO is oxyethylene; and m expresses an average addition mol number of ethylene oxide and is 2 to 30) and a nonionic surfactant expressed by the formula: R<SP>2</SP>-O-(AO)<SB>n</SB>-H (R<SP>2</SP>is an 8-24C aliphatic hydrocarbon group; AO is a 2-3C oxyalkylene, provided that the oxyalkylene includes oxypropylene in an amount of 5-40 mol%; and n expresses an average addition mol number of alkylene oxide and is 3 to 50) in a weight ratio of 9/1 to 2/8 and (B) a bi- to hexahydric alcohol, wherein the inhibitor contains the component (A) and the component (B) in a weight ratio of 9/1 to 2/8 and in an amount of 25-95 wt% in total.
