PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition for a kitchen while maintaining the balance of citrus-based aromatic tone capable of inhibiting yellowing in its preservation at a high temperature. SOLUTION: This liquid detergent is characterized by containing (a)≥0.5 and≤1.5 mass % citral based on the total aromatic components, (b)≥50 and≤80 mass % hydrocarbon-based aromatic component based on the total aromatic components and (c)≥1 kind of a carboxylic acid having hydroxy group at itsα-position, and also having 0.005-0.020 mass ratio of (a)/(b).
