A method for regulating power consumption of a network system having a first communication unit and a second communication unit communicating with the first communication unit, characterized by comprising a step for allowing the first communication unit to generate information concerning the operation of a first information processing IC provided in the first communication unit and to transmit the operational information of the IC to the second communication unit, a step for allowing the second communication unit to approve the operational information of the IC thus transmitted entirely or partially and to transmit the approved operational information of the IC to the first communication unit, and a step for allowing the first communication unit to regulate the operational frequency and/or the supply voltage of the first information processing IC according to the approved operational information of the IC. |
