A statistical process control system on a production line (101), comprises physical level devices (301, 302, 411) that acquire information at workposts (102, 103) belonging to the production line (101). There is also a computer network (432) for processing information acquired by the physical level devices (301, 302, 411). Between the physical level devices (301, 302, 411) and the computer network (432) there are a multitude of nodes (421) and at least one controller module (431). The nodes (421) are connected to said physical level devices (301, 302, 411). The controller module (431) is connected to said nodes (421) and to said computer network (432). |
