<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable for high-speed transmission in which improvement of flame resistance and maintenance of flexibility of the whole cable are realized by flame resistance and foaming of an inclusion. <P>SOLUTION: In the cable 100 for high speed transmission, a plurality of inclusions 120 to which an flame retardant and a foaming agent are added between a plurality of insulating electric wires 110, and if necessary, a tape layer 130 and a metal layer 140 composed of a laminate tape are applied to the outer periphery of this cable core, a sheath 150 is applied to the outermost periphery, and in the case of fire, even if fire enters into the cable 100, the inclusion itself is hard to be burnt because the inclusion 120 is made flame resistant, and on the other hand, because the foaming agent starts foaming by heat of this fire, because of endothermic reaction by foaming and elevation of an inner pressure by volume expansion, a superior prevention effect of the spread of a fire of the cable is obtained. Furthermore, because flame resistance of built-in insulating electric wires 110, the sheath part, and the cable structure itself is unnecessary, the dielectric constant ε and the dielectric tangent tan δ are small, and superior flexibility is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
