<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head apparatus in which position relation between an aberration compensating element and an optical system for prescribing an optical path never be deviated when tilt of an objective lens is adjusted even when the aberration compensating element is arranged between the optical system for prescribing the optical path and the objective lens. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical head apparatus 1, an aberration compensating element 25 is mounted on a concave part 30 of an upper plane side of an apparatus frame 6, and a 1/4 wavelength plate 20 is mounted on a wavelength plate insertion hole 32 of a lower plane side of an objective lens drive apparatus 5 between a rise mirror 19 of the optical system for prescribing an optical path and an objective lens 4. Thus, aberration of the whole optical system 8 for prescribing the optical path including the rise mirror 19 is compensated en bloc, also, even if tilt of the objective lens drive apparatus 5 is adjusted and tilt of the objective lens 4 is adjusted, the aberration compensating element 25 never be tilted with that. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
