摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for increasing vehicle speed of an automatically guided vehicle by an external signal when the vehicle travels on a traveling road where steering capability is not required so much, a means for detecting the vehicle speed and a mechanism for releasing a high speed mode when the vehicle speed becomes fixed vehicle speed or higher for the automatically guided vehicle which travels at the vehicle speed set to the high speed mode by a magnet signal buried underground. <P>SOLUTION: The automatically guided vehicle is equipped with an automatic steering mechanism constituted of a guidance line and a guidance sensor, wherein the vehicle includes the means for increasing the vehicle speed by the external signal when the vehicle travels on the traveling road where the steering capability is not required so much and a means for detecting deviation quantity between the guidance line and the guidance sensor, and when a range of the deviation quantity becomes a certain fixed value (a) or more, the high speed mode is immediately released and when the deviation quantity is between the certain fixed value (a) and another fixed value b and such the state is continued beyond fixed time, the high speed is released, and when the deviation quantity is within the certain fixed value b, the high speed mode is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
