<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful new nucleic acid and to provide a vaccine for prophylaxis of diseases caused by infection with a chlamydia, especially chlamydophila felis and an analysis related to pathogenicity by utilizing information about the nucleic acid. <P>SOLUTION: The nucleic acid is composed of the following (a) or (b), i.e. (a) a nucleic acid composed of a specific base sequence or (b) a nucleic acid comprising a part of the base sequence deleted, substituted or added and having 80% homology with the base sequence.
