摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device capable of improving light extraction efficiency of a light emitting element and manufacturable by a simple manufacturing process; and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: An organic EL device of this invention is provided with an organic EL element 200 having a pixel electrode 141, an organic functional layer 140 and a common electrode 154 stacked on a flattened insulation film 240; and is so structured that a reflecting layer 141a is formed on the lower layer side of the organic functional layer 140; the reflecting layer 141a is extended outside the organic functional layer 140 in a plan view; and a slope part 141a1 facing to the organic functional layer 140 side is formed in the extended part.
