PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slat for a louver capable of preventing dew condensation in the inside, preventing outside air and rainwater intruding through a clearance, and being easily handled. SOLUTION: This slat for the louver is constituted in such a way that the slat is molded into a hollow structural angle 1 and has an air layer 2 inside it in a glass used in a louver sash having a plurality of slats and being openable and closable, a protruding part 3 is provided in the whole region along the longitudinal direction of a front upper part in contact with each slat when closing the louver sash, a protruding part 4 is provided in the whole region along the longitudinal direction of a back lower part to form a position where each slat comes into contact mutually into a form in which each slat comes into contact at two steps, and the whole region in the longitudinal direction of upper and lower end parts 5 is formed like a curved face.
