PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building having an open roof balcony by making the inside invisible from an adjacent dwelling unit. SOLUTION: In this building, skip floors S1 and S2 higher than a floor B of a story and lower than a flat roof C1, are arranged in a part of the story for forming the flat roof C1 in an upper part, and the roof balcony 130 is arranged in an upper part of the skip floor S1. The roof balcony 130 is arranged higher than the floor B of the story for forming the flat roof in an upper part, and the inside of the roof balcony 130 can be made invisible from the adjacent dwelling unit. Since an outer peripheral wall P1 and the flat roof C1 of the building become relatively lower than the roof balcony 130, the outer peripheral wall P1 and the flat roof C1 do not become a hindrance to looking at a surrounding scene, and the open roof balcony 130 can be formed.
