PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door control device capable of being constructed at a comparatively low cost, offering proper service to the able-bodied and the handicapped upon discriminating from each other, and suppressing a drop of the operating efficiency as much as practicable. SOLUTION: An elevator car is equipped internally with a device CC to sense the form of a passenger HP going to get on the car CG and its moving speed, and the door open time is changed according to the result from sensing.
