PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cutter capable of precisely pulling a desired length of an adhesive roll tape. SOLUTION: In this tape cutter 10, a swing member 18 is mounted to an indicating plate 17 at a rear part of a cutter blade 15 under a condition that it is oscillatably cantilevered via a bolt 19. A tape holder 20 is mounted to an oscillation tip 18a of the swing member 18 with one end 21 supported (cantilevered), and a ring element 12 is fitted in the tape holder 20 to rotatably support an adhesive roll tape 13. A tension roll 22 is arranged between the tape holder 20 and the cutter blade 15 under a cantilevered condition to make an outer periphery 13a of the adhesive roll tape 13 always abuts on the tension roll 22 by dead weights of the tape holder 20 and the adhesive roll tape 13. The surface of the adhesive tape 11 pulled from the adhesive roll tape 13 is brought into contact with the tension roll 22 and guided to a position of the cutter blade 15.
