PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional fixing nut used for mounting a circular grinding wheel on the spindle of a grinder in which a washer is fitted to the mouth part of a female screw part to prevent the fixing nut from being tightened in the opposite side of a correct side wherein even if the tightening direction is correct, a male screw part cannot be completely tightened since the washer obstructs the tightening. SOLUTION: A stopper member 20 is installed aslant on the inner peripheral surface of the female screw part S and the fixing nut 10 is tightened in the correct direction. Then, the stopper member 20 is pressed by the male screw part 3b, and retreated to a position where the stopper member is not extended into the female screw part S. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
