The present invention provides curcumol derivatives of the following formula: (I) wherein: Y is selected from =CHR<2>, -CH2R<2>, =O, -OH or -OR<1>; R<1> is selected from H, R, RCO or HO3S; said R is selected from H; saturated or unsaturated linear C1-10 hydrocarbon group, and the like; R<2> is selected from F; Cl; Br; I; H; -OH; - OR; -HO3S, and the like; with the provision that R<1>, R<2> cannot both be H; or pharmaceutical acceptable salts thereof. The present invention also provides antitumor or antiviral pharmaceutical compositions comprising said derivatives or pharmaceutical 0AA5@t0bl5 salts thereof. The present invention further provides the use of said derivatives or pharmaceutical acceptable salts in preparation of a medicament for the prophylaxis and/or treatment of tumor or an antiviral medicament.
