PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk and an optical disk apparatus accurately performing focusing of a laser beam on a disk label surface at high speed.

SOLUTION: The optical disk 100 is an information recording type optical disk wherein a visible image is recorded on one surface thereof and is provided with: a disk substrate 1 including an information recording layer 2 in which marks showing information are recorded by a laser beam; a label recording layer 5 which is formed on the disk substrate and in which the visible image can be recorded; and a reflection zone 3a provided on the inner peripheral side of the label recording layer 5 and concentric with the disk.
