<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag module easily detachable from an instrument panel. <P>SOLUTION: Brackets 5, 6 are spaced from each other in a longitudinal direction of a lid 2 of the instrument panel, and their lower parts are attachable/detachable to/from a steering member 1. Upper hooks 10, 11 are locked with the brackets 5, 6. The brackets 5, 6 have holes 5a, 6a, and the hoods 10, 11 are constituted of upper fixed parts 10a, 11a, bent parts 10b, 11b bent with respect to the fixed parts and extending in a direction penetrating the holes 5a, 6a, and bent parts 10c, 11c bent downward with respect to the bent parts 10b, 11b to be engaged with lower walls 5b, 6b of the brackets 5, 6. The bent part 11b of the rear hook 11 is longer than the bent part 10b of the front hook 10, and a space H1 between the bent part 11b of the rear hook 11 and the bracket 6 locking the rear hook 11 is larger than a space H2 between the bent part 10b of the front hook 10 and the bracket 5 locking the bent part 10b, in such a state where the air bag module 3 is locked with the locking brackets 5, 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
