<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a master unit efficiently receive an ID from a slave unit. <P>SOLUTION: In a noncontact information communications system, composed of a first communication device and a plurality of second communications devices for transmitting identification information to the first communications device, the first communications device is designed to detect the collision state of a signal transmitted from the second communications device by bits; to transmit a collision notification to the second communication device, when the collision state is detected; and to translate the detected bit of the collision state to a predetermined logical value.
