<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication testing apparatus that a user can easily operate even without deep knowledge relating to the complicated combination of resources of hardware and software for testing. <P>SOLUTION: Test items and resource identification information are stored in a test item storage means in advance, a test item determining means determines a test item corresponding to a mounted unit or the like managed by a management means is determined as a practicable test item by referring to the test item storage means based on resources of the mounted unit managed, and a user interface means selectively identifies and displays the practicable test item.
