COMPONENT SHIFTING APPARATUS, SURFACE MOUNTING APPARATUS AND COMPONENT INSPECTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component transfer apparatus which does not result in excessive load of a Z-axis driver at the time of replacing an attracting nozzle, and also to provide a surface mounting apparatus and a component inspection apparatus.

SOLUTION: A nozzle switching mechanism 42 provided is capable of lifting a nozzle shaft 36 from the usual usage position at the time of replacing an attracting nozzle 8 and engaging an engaging member 84 (second bevel gear 75) in the side of nozzle shaft 36 with the engaging member 84 in the side of a housing. The engaging member 84 in the side of housing 82 is supported to freely shift in the vertical direction against a support member 83. A compression coil spring 94 is also provided to activate this engaging member 84 toward the lower side. A sensor 96 is also provided to detect that this engaging member 84 has shifted toward the upper side against the support member 83.
