<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which there is no chance of desorption of a nasty smell substance adsorbed by an adsorbent and the exhausted quantity of the substance is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a fixing apparatus B having an image forming part outputting an unfixed image on paper 8 and a means for causing the paper 8 to pass through and heat fixing the unfixed image formed on the paper. The image forming apparatus is characterized in that the apparatus is provided with: an exhausting duct 40 exhausting air in the vicinity of the fixing apparatus B outside a main body; an adsorbent carrying member 42 provided in the middle of an exhausting path in the exhausting duct 40; and a suction fan 41 sucking the air into the exhausting duct 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
