PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a document or a sheet with proper operability, when a document is copied by printing data obtained by reading a document through a scanner on a sheet by means of a printer. SOLUTION: A document selection set button 106 for setting/displaying the type of a document to be read by means of a scanner, and a sheet selection set button 108 for setting/displaying the type of sheet for printing by means of a printer are displayed on a main screen 100. Consequently, a user can recognize the set type of document to be read by means of the scanner immediately on the screen 100, even in the way of setting the type of a sheet for printing by means of the printer, and can recognize the set type of sheet being printed by means of the printer immediately on the screen 100, even in the way of setting the type of a document being read by means of the scanner.
