PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Rankine cycle device capable of controlling suction pressure of an expansion machine while maintaining power to be transmitted to a load machine. SOLUTION: In this Rankine cycle device 1, a pump 2, a boiler 3, the expansion machine 4, and a capacitor 5 are provided, and hydrofluorocarbon R134a being working fluid is circulated. The expansion machine 4 is a swash plate type expansion machine and is driven by working fluid to be absorbed. A pressure sensor 9 is provided on a suction side of the expansion machine 4 to adjust delivery capacity of the expansion machine 4 based on a value detected by the pressure sensor 9.
