PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint treating method for performing construction simply in a short period of time and enabling joint treatment for suppressing occurrence of crack in a joint part. SOLUTION: A mesh tape for reinforcing a joint is provided in a joint part of a dry type wall substrate constituted by bonding plate members for building such as gypsum board, plywood, and calcium silicate board or the like. A material containing synthetic resin emulsion as a main component, inorganic filler having particle diameter in a scope of 5 to 300μm, inorganic aggregate having particle diameter in a scope of 0.1 to 2.0 mm, and synthetic fibers having line diameter of 5 to 50μm and length of 0.5 to 30 mm and produced by blending inorganic filler at a ratio of 150 to 500 weight parts, inorganic aggregate at a ratio of 250 to 750 weight parts, and synthetic fibers at a ratio of 0.1 to 10 weight parts is used as a backing adjusting material of a dry type wall. It is kneaded with water and is applied using an iron, a spatula, and a roller to suppress occurrence of crack and thinning in the joint part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
