PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding structure of a remote control transmitter for a vehicle, which enhances detaching operability by making holding and removing operations of the remote control transmitter to and from a holder small, without impairing the external appearance of the remote control transmitter. SOLUTION: Engagement grooves 13 extended by a prescribed length along the longitudinal direction of the remote control transmitter 1 are formed at lower end parts of both side surfaces of the remote control transmitter 1. Planar projections 27 projecting toward the engagement grooves 13 and thinner than widths of the engagement grooves 13 are formed on both left and right inside surfaces in a lower part of a recessed part 21 in the holder 2. By engaging the engagement grooves 13 to the planar projections 27 from the above with play spaces, a lower part of the remote control transmitter 1 is held in a holding state of an upper part by an upper part holding means. A locking state of the lower part is maintained in a state of the remote control transmitter 1 inclined to the holder 2 by a prescribed inclined angle when releasing the holding state of the upper part by a releasing means.
