PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate loader controller capable of preventing a plate from damaging or breaking in a grip portion by preventing the plate from being pulled during the conveyance with respect to a plate loader to convey the plate by first and second loaders by gripping both ends of the plate in the conveying direction. SOLUTION: The plate loader controller comprises a first loader control means 21 to control the movement of a first loader 11, a second loader control means 22 to control the movement of a second loader 12, and an interval regulating means 31. The interval regulating means 31 sets the control relationship by the first loader control means 21 and the second loader control means 22 so that the interval between the first loader 11 and the second loader 12 is at least reduced during the conveyance of the plate before a plate W is gripped and moved.
