摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laser beam welding equipment capable of performing the welding in a short time even when welding a base material having a large number of weld parts. <P>SOLUTION: A laser oscillator 12 irradiates laser beams 13 substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of a base material 1, and comprises first to fourth head mechanisms 14-17 which are provided along the optical path of the laser beams 13 to guide the laser beams 13 to a weld part, and first to fourth moving mechanisms 26-29 to move the first to fourth head mechanisms 14-17 parallel to the longitudinal direction of the base material 1. The first to third head mechanisms 14-16 out of the first to fourth head mechanisms 14-17 except the fourth head mechanism 17 farthest from at least the laser beam oscillator 12 are capable of changing the optical path of the laser beams 13.
