<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laser beam welding equipment capable of performing the welding in a short time even when welding a base material having a large number of weld parts. <P>SOLUTION: A laser oscillator 12 irradiates laser beams 13 substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of a base material 1, and comprises first to fourth head mechanisms 14-17 which are provided along the optical path of the laser beams 13 to guide the laser beams 13 to a weld part, and first to fourth moving mechanisms 26-29 to move the first to fourth head mechanisms 14-17 parallel to the longitudinal direction of the base material 1. The first to third head mechanisms 14-16 out of the first to fourth head mechanisms 14-17 except the fourth head mechanism 17 farthest from at least the laser beam oscillator 12 are capable of changing the optical path of the laser beams 13. First and second jig mechanisms 4, 6 to support the base material 1 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the base material 1, and the first and second jig mechanisms 4, 6 can rotate the base material 1 around the center of the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
