<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of a cathode panel in order to obtain a cathode panel in which no electron emitting region exists that is recognized as a luminescent spot even in the case the darkest display is carried out in an electron emitting display device of a cold-cathode electric field electron emission display device as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: In the treating method of the cathode panel CP in which a plurality of electron emitting regions are arranged in a shape of a 2-dimensional matrix for manufacturing the cold-cathode electric field electron emission display device where the inside is made at a prescribed pressure value P<SB>0</SB>, (A) after arranging the cathode panel CP in a treatment chamber 100 where the inside is set at a prescribed pressure P<SB>1</SB>(here, P<SB>1</SB>>P<SB>0</SB>, preferably P<SB>1</SB>≫P<SB>0</SB>), (B) electrons are emitted from all electron emitting regions by impressing test voltage V<SB>INS</SB>to all electron emitting regions in order to form an electric emission at the electron emitting regions where more electron emitting amount is emitted than that in other regions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
