<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image forming device capable of reducing needless parts to the minimum, when executing standard N repeats. <P>SOLUTION: The picture image forming device includes a controller for controlling the standard N repeat for iteratively forming images in each of regions formed by segmenting a transfer paper equally into N parts. The controller detects a remainder resulting from a division process of M/N as Y by the standard N repeat, when obtaining images whose total number of the segments is M. If Y is not zero, image forming is continued by the standard N repeat, until the M-Y segment is reached. Then, in the image forming subsequent to the M-Y+1 segment, a transfer paper having a smaller size than that used till the M-Y segment is reached is selected, to thereby control the image forming using no standard N repeat so as to decrease blank sections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
