<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the output voltage of an inverter in which a predetermined range is stabilized, by controlling the output voltage according to the variation of an input voltage, without using A/D converters or operational amplifiers. <P>SOLUTION: An output voltage correcting device of the inverter includes a control circuit which voltage-divides and extracts the voltage of a main circuit 5 of an inverter for converting the output frequency and the voltage of a generator, and outputs the control signal of a switching element in the main circuit 5 of the inverter. The control circuit has a voltage divider circuit 6, a plurality of waveform forming circuits 8 for forming a waveform corresponding to the voltage distinguished in this voltage divider circuit, a drive circuit 9, and a switching circuit 7, interposed in between the voltage divider circuit and the waveform forming circuit to select the waveform forming circuit.
