<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system in which each node can perform effective communication flexibly, even if there is no management node, while ensuring a sufficient data transmission period. <P>SOLUTION: Each node transits its operating state or operation timing, while reflecting the basic speed of state transition and delivering/receiving a state variable signal representative of its operating state or operation timing. Based on the transition state, time slot of each node is assigned.
