PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve driveability of a vehicle with a simple constitution and suppress twist and drag of a tire at turning in a wheel drive device for the vehicle. SOLUTION: One wheel 30 suspended on a vehicle body is composed of a plurality of rims 31A, 31B which are independently coaxially rotatable with each other, and a plurality of tires 32A, 32B provided on these rims. The wheel drive device 40 for the vehicle is a composition where a plurality of motors 50, 60 are individually connected with the plurality of rims one by one. The plurality of rims can independently be driven by the respective motors. The wheel is equipped with a moment sensor 35 which detects the moment when the moment to the left or right relative to the vehicle advancing direction is acted on the wheel.
