PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add the update road information at low communication costs by reducing the amount of information of communications with a navigation server. SOLUTION: A navigation control part 15 of this navigation system acquires route information from a departure location to a destination inputted from an operating part 2 from the navigation server 20, collates and compares the route information with road information corresponding to areas from the departure location to the destination among road map information stored in a first storage means 5, adds information on discrepant parts to the road map information of the storage means in the case of the presence of discrepancy, and displays it on a display part 1.
