PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and simple security system that enables a user using an object managed by a security system to freely change the setting of the security system by himself, and also that is hard for an intruder to be easily aware of the existence of the security system. SOLUTION: The security system comprises a caution object and a management system for managing the caution object. The caution object has a plurality of start-up switches for generating start-up signals, and a plurality of portion signal generation part for generating a signal portion that can constitute a predetermined sequence signal when having received the start-up signals generated from the plurality of start-up switches according to a predetermined relationship between these. The management system compares the signal portion generated from the portion signal generation part with the predetermined sequence information, and issues an alarm when they are not matched. Here, the relationship between the plurality of start-up switches and the plurality of portion signal generation parts can freely be changed by the user of the caution object at the caution object.
