PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable electrophotographic printer where paper jamming is not caused when a printing mode is a Face Down printing mode before and after switching the size of paper or the ream weight of paper. SOLUTION: The paper is fed from a sheet feeding device 409 at a prescribed paper interval when switching the size of the paper or the ream weight of the paper, so that the papers different in size or ream weight are prevented from passing each other near a gate member 411 for switching a paper feeding path, whereby the paper is prevented from colliding before and after switching the size of the paper or before and after switching the ream weight of the paper, and the paper jamming is not caused.
