PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a laser confocal microscope with which the variation in luminance synchronized with the revolution of a rotating pinhole disk is reduced. SOLUTION: The laser confocal microscope uses a rotating pinhole disk. The laser confocal microscope is characterized by comprising: a rotation angle detecting part which detects the rotation angle of the pinhole disk; a transmissivity sensor part which detects the variation in the transmissivity of an optical scanner part corresponding to the rotation angle of the pinhole disk; a storage part which stores the variation in the transmissivity corresponding to the rotation angle of the pinhole disk; an arbitrary waveform generation part which outputs a signal corresponding to the reciprocal of the variation in the transmissivity corresponding to the rotation angle stored in the storage part corresponding to the rotation angle which is measured and used; and a variable attenuation part which is installed behind a laser light source and controls the laser beam power on the basis of the signal of the arbitrary waveform generation part.
