PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the supply amount of corrosion suppressant in an optimum condition while monitoring the amount and existence or not of a corrosion promoting component in feed water or steam condensate. SOLUTION: This boiler device 1 comprises a boiler 2 for heating feed water to generate steam, a water feed part 3 for feeding the feed water to the boiler 2, a steam supply part 5 for supplying the steam from the boiler 2 to load equipment 4, a recovery part 6 for recovering the steam used in the load equipment 4 as condensate, and a chemical supply device 17 for supplying corrosion suppressant. A carbonic acid concentration measuring means 21 and a dissolved oxygen concentration measuring means 22 are provided in at least one of the water feed part 3, the steam supply part 5 and the recovery part 6. The supply amount of the corrosion suppressant is set in accordance with values measured by the carbonic acid concentration measuring means 21 and the dissolved oxygen concentration measuring means 22.
